Mobile, AL (January 12, 2022) — 3 Echoes Content Studio, producers of the Mobile-based national home improvement TV show, “Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford,” is scouting Mobile and Baldwin County locations and homeowners to be featured on the show in 2022. “Today’s Homeowner” TV, now in its 24th season, shoots 80% of its episodes in lower Alabama.

Marc Ingram, 3 Echoes Production Manager, said that “Today’s Homeowner” TV will tape 18-20 episodes in Mobile and Baldwin counties in 2022.

“This is a huge opportunity for south Alabama residents to appear on a top-rated national home improvement TV show that is viewed by nearly 2 million Americans every week,” said Ingram. “We are looking for everyday homeowners who want to learn about their homes, get some hands-on home improvement experience and have a great time along the way. No special skills are needed.”

According to Ingram, weekend-type projects tend to work best for the Today’s Homeowner audience, as the show’s mission is to empower homeowners with practical information to maintain and improve their homes.

Some great project examples include:

  • Curb appeal updates — front porches, patios and landscaping
  • Upgrading backyards and outdoor living areas
  • Making an area of a home more functional
  • Painting projects — indoor or outdoor
  • Creating storage solutions such as built-ins
  • Upgrading flooring, lighting and countertops
  • Tiling projects

Host and namesake of the show, Danny Lipford, encourages south Alabama residents to step forward and send in their projects for consideration.

“My producers at 3 Echoes are looking for all kinds of homeowners and projects to feature on my show in 2022,” said Lipford. “No area of the home is off-limits. We showcase garages, bedrooms, bathrooms, porches, basements, kitchens, baths and more. If you have improvements or repairs you’d like to tackle at your home, I encourage you to get in touch with my producers today.”

Ingram shares answers to some of the most commonly asked questions below:
